This Cookie Policy explains how Megan Youde trading as Partnered Works ("Partnered Works", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at www.partneredworks.com.
The short version: we have deliberately built our website so that it does not use any non-essential cookies. You will not see a cookie consent banner on our site, and we do not track you across the web.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They can be used for a range of purposes, from keeping you logged in to tracking your behaviour across multiple sites.
Not all cookies require your consent. Under UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, or PECR), only non-essential cookies - those that are not strictly necessary for the website to function - require your permission before being set.
2. What we use instead
We have chosen our tools carefully to avoid placing non-essential cookies on your device. Here is a summary of the services we use and how they interact with cookies:
| Service | Purpose | Cookies set on our site? | Consent required? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Plausible Analytics | Website analytics | No | No |
| Calendly | Booking calls (external link) | No | No |
| Mailchimp | Waitlist emails (native form) | No | No |
| Vercel | Website hosting | Functional only | No |
3. Plausible Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. Plausible is a privacy-first analytics tool that does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across other websites. All data is aggregated and anonymous.
Because Plausible does not use cookies or process personal data, it does not require your consent under PECR or UK GDPR. You can read more about how Plausible works at plausible.io/privacy.
4. Calendly
We use Calendly to allow you to book calls with us. Rather than embedding the Calendly widget directly on our website (which would set third-party cookies on your device), we link out to our Calendly page at calendly.com. Any cookies set during your booking are set by Calendly on their own domain and are subject to Calendly's privacy and cookie policies, available at calendly.com/privacy.
5. Mailchimp
We use Mailchimp to manage our email waitlist. Our sign-up form is built natively into our website and communicates with Mailchimp's API in the background. We do not use a Mailchimp-hosted embed widget, which means no Mailchimp cookies are set on your device when you visit our site. Your email address is stored by Mailchimp as our data processor - see our Privacy Policy for more details.
6. Vercel (website hosting)
Our website is hosted on Vercel. As part of standard web hosting, Vercel may process basic server-side data such as IP addresses and request logs. Vercel does not set advertising or tracking cookies on your device. Any functional data processed by Vercel is covered in our Privacy Policy.
7. Essential cookies
We do not currently set any first-party cookies on our website. Should this change - for example, if we add a members area or a cookie preference store - we will update this policy and, where required, seek your consent.
8. Third-party links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, including Calendly and social media platforms. Once you leave our site, we have no control over how those sites use cookies. We encourage you to read their privacy and cookie policies before providing any personal data.
9. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, particularly if we add new tools or services to our website. When we do, we will update the 'Last updated' date at the top of this page.
